1980's Vintage Avocet Model II Chrome Steel Road Headset English 1" x 24 tpi.
Circa 1980's. Excellent mechanical condition with very low wear, some patina and blemishes on the outside and one spot from long term
immobility on the lower frame race. See pictures. Stack height: 40 mm. Crown race diameter: 26.4 mm.
Seems to be a little tight to thread on some forks, was checked on a French fork, and is definitely 1" x 24.
