TALON2's speed regulation system features a passive Variable Pitch Technology™ which provides a reliable and productive solution for the small wind system. Since the variable pitch mechanism allows a wider working range than the other designs, TALON2 can produce more energy than turbines using other speed regulation methods, such as tail furling and electromagnetic braking. Handsome downwind design: instead of a tail, this unit uses centrifugal hammers to drive the outermost edge of the blades.

WIND TURBINE GENERATOR
- Our efficient generators are built using high-performance rare earth neodymium permanent magnets. The housing is precision-cast steel and has been hot-dipped galvanized for anti-corrosion protection. It is built to withstand severe climates, sand and salt corrosion.
3 FIBERGLASS-REINFORCED BLADES -
We started by designing light-breeze catching blades to maximize the wind generation opportunities. These blades are are designed with the latest thermoplastic engineering and injection mold technologies. Whisper quiet and vibration-free.  The American wind Energy Association recognizes that a 3-blade system is more efficient than 5 blades because it creates less turbulence.
CHARGE CONTROLLER -
This is an multifunctional controller that
combines the functions of an AC-to-DC rectifier, load controller and dump
load controller for wind systems.  Output is 240VDC

FEATURES:
Reliable and Smart Speed Regulation:
The speed regulation is always the number one design concern of the wind turbine systems since wind speeds vary from 0 mph up to 110 mph. It's difficult for a designer to find the balance between the safety of operation and fair output. Since most systems correctly sacrifice output in favor of safety, many end up with rated wind speeds of 26-28mph and with kick-in speeds up to 20mph. But in most areas, the wind speed is below 18mph so these generators will not produce enough energy for you even though they spin very hard. Our TALON2 adopts the variable pitch technology design from larger turbines.  This design provides a solution in a smart way -- it can operate both in low wind and high wind conditions and produce energy from 8.95 mph to 55.92 mph constantly.
Successful Design & Premium Parts:
The PMG generator used in this system is a result of 40 years of testing and R&D.  Incorporated with the super powerful Neodymium super-powerful rare earth magnets, one of the greatest inventions of the 1980s, the system produces great power with a longer life span. Top brand premium parts are selected -- like German made bearings, top quality slip rings, etc., to guarantee it will generate power for you for many years to come.
High Energy Output:
Besides the design, the energy output of the generator also depends on how much copper wire is used in the stator and how many magnets are used in the rotor. The more copper wire and magnets used, the more powerful the generator is. A small and light system normally will produce less power than a heavier system.

SHIPPING:
We will ship via overland freight.  If you have access to a loading dock, forklift, tractor, or other means of retrieving the items off the truck, please let us know, as it will save delivery time because the trucking company will not need to change trucks.  Also, a daytime phone number is REQUIRED so that the trucking company can contact you to make delivery arrangements.  Please make sure a contact number is listed with your address.  We can not ship until we receive that contact phone number.
