This generator is typically used in large scale wind turbines for power generation but it could likely be adapted for homestead use, hydro power, a rotary phase converter, or any number of projects requiring a very large motor.
These generators are very expensive new and have many import fees associated - save some trouble by purchasing this one that is already in the USA in VA.
