Vintage NRI Capacitor Bridge/Leakage Tester. Good Condition. Read Description.. Condition is "Used". Shipped with UPS Ground.
This unit is a "National Radio Institute" branded r/c tester for use with their mail in courses.
Based out of Washington DC
The cabinet is in great condition and the internals are all refurbished.
The leakage tester function is working, but only up to 300v dc.
Pictured is me testing a new electrolytic, and then a known leaky capacitor
I was not able to find any manual or information for this and there has been atleast one previous modification where someone replaced a diode tube with a modern diode.
I have also either not been able to figure out how to operate this bridge circuit, or the bridge circuit has a problem in it.
This is more of a collectors item than a piece of test gear, atleast until someone more skilled than me gets it.
